Celebrating our strengths and differences and recognizing we’re at our best when everyone is welcome.
Celebrating our strengths and differences and recognizing we’re at our best when everyone is welcome.
Welcoming Week fosters connections between immigrants and non-immigrants and encourages a sense of belonging for all.
Individuals and organizations will showcase their values through events and initiatives.
Philadelphia is committed to this annual campaign organized by Welcoming America. For 2024, the Office of Immigrant Affairs (OIA) and its partners are curating events that embody this year’s national theme, “We’re All In.”
The BE/LONGING Exhibition is about the connection Philadelphia library spaces can inspire. Featuring artwork by Joanne Grüne-Yanoff and curation by Suzanna Urminska, it reflects on how libraries have the power to be places of resource, refuge, contemplation, engagement, and wonder.
Celebrate Welcoming Week at the Free Library with an international cooking demonstration and tasting led by Edible Alphabet English staff and participants. Join us for this free event and enjoy an evening of fun, food, and community.
The 2024 Immigrant and Refugee Career Fair will host a wide range of employers and organizations to meet with and support multilingual and multicultural communities.
