June is LGBTQ Pride Month. This month serves as an opportunity to listen to and learn from one another. It also helps us make our communities stronger and more inclusive.
Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community or a straight/cisgender ally, there are tons of ways to show your pride and support for the LGBTQ+ community!
The second annual LGBTQ State of the Union is a forum for LGBTQ Philadelphians to directly engage with the city’s LGBTQ organizations. To RSVP, visit the Kimmel Center website.
Kick off LGBTQ Pride Month with our annual flag raising ceremony, which will feature live performances, dynamic speakers, music, and an appearance from Mayor Kenney. Following the flag raising, we’ll head over to LOVE Park for Pride in the Park.
Join the Mayor’s Office of LGBT Affairs, Philadelphia Family Pride, and the Mt. Airy Art Garage for music, food, fine art, and handicrafts. There will also be resource tables to provide support and services to LGBTQ youth and parents.
