Mobile and web requests: We’ve seen a large number of anonymous submissions with inappropriate content. To help protect our system and our staff, requests in our mobile app and web portal will be marked as private. To see updates and follow the progress of your requests, we recommend creating an account. Thank you for your understanding as we work on a solution.
Overview
You can report a variety of problems to 311, including:
- Potholes and street damage.
- Abandoned automobiles.
- Graffiti.
- Illegal dumping.
- Street light outages.
Philly311 will direct your issue to the correct department. Once you’ve submitted your service request, you can track its progress.

When you submit a service request, remember to provide:
- The exact location: Include the closest street address (name and number).
- Clear details: Give a thorough explanation of the issue (e.g., size, shape, exact placement).
