Meet as a group
The task force meets at least every other month. Subcommittees or ad hoc meetings may be established as needed.

Assess threats
The task force assesses the consumer threats that are most significant to Philadelphians. It then coordinates outreach and proposes enforcement and regulations to reduce the harm caused by those threats.
The task force incorporates an equity assessment into its agenda to ensure that it is aware of threats that have a disproportionate impact based on:
- Race
- Gender.
- Sexual orientation or identity.
- Age.
- Religion.
- Familial status.
- Disability.
- English proficiency level.
- Education level.

The task force is designing a community engagement plan so that its work and solutions are informed by residents facing consumer threats.
