• Harm Reduction Coalition is a national organization that promotes the health and dignity of individuals and communities affected by drug use.
• Prevention Point Philadelphia seeks to promote health, empowerment, and safety for communities affected by drug use and poverty.
• Angels in Motion works to change the way those suffering with the disease of addiction are treated one life at a time.
• SOL Collective works to end the overdose crisis and advocates for overdose prevention sites.

Education and advocacy

• SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Prevention Toolkit offers strategies to health care providers, communities, and local governments for developing practices and policies to help prevent opioid-related overdoses and deaths.
• The City has released fact sheets with safer use strategies for non-opioid drugs, including synthetic cannabinoids (K2), cocaine/crack, methamphetamine (meth), and phencyclidine (PCP).

Maternal and child health

• Philadelphia’s Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Outreach Program provides harm reduction education and referrals to mothers of infants diagnosed with NAS and their families.

Mental health

• The Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS) provides mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Addiction support

• Alcoholics Anonymous offers support meetings for recovering alcoholics.
• Narcotics Anonymous offers support meetings for recovering drug users.
• PRO-ACT provides resources and opportunities to reduce the impact of addiction, trauma, and other related health issues.

Housing and food insecurity

• You can find free food, nutrition services, and help with public benefits through the Food and meal finder.
• The Office of Homeless Services (OHS) works to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Philadelphia.
• The Sunday Love Project provides meals for the homeless.
