The City’s Building Energy Programs work together to improve overall energy efficiency in large buildings. These programs require building owners to report energy and water data, and in some cases, make improvements to support better energy and water efficiency in the building.

If you own or manage a large building in Philadelphia, you may need to comply with the following programs:

Buildings account for nearly 70% of Philadelphia’s carbon emissions. Through these initiatives, the City can reduce emissions from the largest buildings, increase energy efficiency, and achieve its goal of going carbon neutral by 2050.
