PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Fire Department will host a free Citizens’ Fire Academy, for residents age 18 and over, from 9 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, November 19, at the Fire Training Academy located at 5200 Pennypack Street, Philadelphia, PA. The Citizens’ Fire Academy is a great way for those interested in joining the Fire Department to learn about their emergency services operations and community risk reduction initiatives through instructor demonstrations and hands-on learning stations.
