The Mayor, Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, State Sen. Vincent Hughes, President of the Philadelphia NAACP Minister Rodney Muhammed, Commissioner of the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services Dr. Arthur C. Evans, Executive Director of CeaseFirePA Shira Goodman, Principal Veronica Joyner and  students from the Mathematics, Civics and Sciences Charter School and the mothers and families of murder victims will speak at this press conference for the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. Tomorrow’s conversation will be focused on starting a dialogue on how homicide should be viewed as a public health epidemic.
