In 2024, the City repaved Tabor Avenue and installed safety improvements, including a two-way separated bikeway and a new left-turn lane at Godfrey. These updates aim to reduce speeding, prevent incidents, and provide safer crossings for pedestrians and cyclists.
Based on community feedback, an additional phase of the project will include upgrading traffic signals, adding concrete bikeway separation, and installing pedestrian curb extensions and floating bus stops. The project will ensure Tabor Avenue remains a safer, more accessible street for all users.
