Requests for Proposals: Financial Literacy Services

The Department of Commerce, Office of Neighborhood Economic Development’s Earned Income Tax Credit Preparation & Financial Education Services – Requests for Proposals is now open. Funding available for nonprofit organizations to offer free tax filing and financial literacy services for low-to-moderate income households within eligible areas. Through this grant opportunity, the Neighborhood Funding Stream seeks to increase household wealth, financial education and providing free cost financial services as a contributor for economic growth for families and business owners.

The Neighborhood Funding Stream seeks to make free tax preparation services, benefits access, and financial literacy services accessible within the neighborhoods we serve. To apply, applicants that intend to provide services within an eligible area and meet the eligibility criteria can submit their application below.

The application deadline is September 30, 2024.
