The Refinery Advisory Group is charged with hosting a series of public meetings aimed at gathering testimony and information from experts and stakeholders who represent an array of constituencies: the community, academic and environmental experts, business leaders, and organized labor.

On August 20, 2019, the group’s Community Committee hosted the second of five public meetings. Attendees broke into small groups to provide ideas and feedback.

The Refinery Advisory Group will release a report that compiles all the information they gather and include recommendations for the future use of the refinery site.
