The average grant award is between $500 – $1,000. That money can be used for things like:

  • Materials.
  • Umpiring and referee fees.
  • Postage.
  • Other program costs.

The grant cannot be used for capital costs, like repairing buildings, new construction, or other building fees.

Who

The grant is only for non-profit organizations.

Non-profit organizations that have received Philadelphia Cultural Fund Grants or Anti-Drug Initiative Grants are not eligible for the Philadelphia Activities Fund Grant.

Each City Council district office reviews grant applications and makes grant award recommendations to the PAF Board. Those who receive grants will have to submit annual reports and could be asked to host site visits. Additional details will be provided in the grant contract
