Parks & Rec’s soccer program provides fun, low-cost league play for Philadelphia youth.

The program organizes both indoor and outdoor soccer leagues. The soccer programs provide a safe place for youth to:
- Learn the fundamentals of soccer.
- Build self-confidence and resilience.
- Develop sportsmanship and leadership skills.
- Improve their physical and mental health.
Parks & Rec’s soccer program was founded in 1963. The League Directors help us manage the indoor league.

League details
- What: Philadelphia outdoor and indoor soccer leagues.
- Who: Philadelphia youth ages 7 to 14. No experience is necessary.
- Where: Teams play at local clubs, youth organizations, and recreation centers.
- When:
- Outdoor soccer runs from September through November.
- Indoor soccer runs from January to April.
- How: visit your local recreation center for more information and to register.
