Lehigh Avenue (Kensington to Aramingo) traffic safety project

This project seeks to improve the corridor between Kensington Avenue and Aramingo Avenue. It is a follow-up to the 2022 repaving project that installed parking separated bike lanes. Its goals are to:

  • Reduce speeding and aggressive driving
  • Improve walking and biking facilities
  • Make the street clean, green, and safe while respecting Lehigh Avenue’s history and people.

Please take the survey! It will ask you to weigh tradeoffs, and you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on ideas for two intersections the community says need the most help. Your input will help the City make decisions about the design.
