Food waste reduction documents for residents

Wasted food makes up nearly one-fifth of Philadelphia’s residential waste stream. To begin changing this, the Office of Sustainability launched the Eat Away at Food Waste campaign. The campaign shares tools and resources to help prevent wasted food in our homes.

The documents on this page include:

  • Useful information about food storage to help fresh foods last longer in your pantry, fridge, or freezer.
  • A worksheet to help you plan for meals and use up foods you already have on hand.

All the documents are print-ready.
