The Domestic Worker Bill of Rights requires employers of domestic workers to provide their employees with a contract, paid time off, and other protections. Domestic workers include nannies, house cleaners, caregivers, and others who provide services in the home.
Employers must provide employees with a written contract that outlines the minimum terms specified in the law. The written contract must be provided in English and the preferred language of the employee. A Domestic Worker Bill of Rights contract template is provided below in English, Spanish, and French.
