Columbus Statue Public Input Process

On July 22, 2020, the City will ask the Philadelphia Art Commission to approve removal of the Christopher Columbus statue from Marconi Plaza. Before that, the City will allow for public input through written submissions and testimony.

This document outlines the timeline and process, which are guided by the Philadelphia Home Rule Charter and other applicable laws and regulations, as well as the Kenney Administration’s desire for robust public dialogue.
