The Black + Gold Series encourages dialogue and participatory engagement as a path to cross-racial understanding and unity between Black and Asian communities. The series is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement (OPE), which works with community organizations and institutions to host curated events and activities that help to bridge the divide.
