The 3rd Street (South Street to Market Street) Bike Lane project began from a request by Society Hill residents for a bike lane and traffic calming along the corridor. This portion of 3rd Street is a major desire line for northbound bikers from South Philadelphia to Old City.
There will be a public meeting on Thursday, March 6 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Old Pine Community Center located at 401 Lombard Street. For more information, please review the project materials below.
