The Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) hears appeals for:

• Zoning permit applications that have been refused or referred by the Department of Licenses and Inspections (L&I).
• Any decision made by L&I in accordance with the Philadelphia Zoning Code, including issuance of by-right permits and zoning-related violation notices.

Attending a meeting

To view a list of upcoming hearings, see the ZBA appeals calendar. Meetings typically occur on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
