Extended MLK Drive Weekend Closure
The City of Philadelphia Department of Streets, Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (OTIS), and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation (PPR) announces the suspension of the MLK Drive Weekend Closure for extended vehicle closure from Thursday, November 28, through Monday, December 2, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. This will be the final weekend of the seasonal closure.
The City will close Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to vehicular traffic from 7 a.m. on November 28 through 7 a.m. on December 2. The closure will span from the Falls Bridge to Sweetbriar Drive.
Please plan your trips accordingly.
