Office of the Chief Administrative Officer

Office of Talent & Employee Success

The Office of Talent & Employee Success focuses on the development and implementation of strategic human resource initiatives and process improvements. We work closely with the Office of Human Resources and with operating departments across the City to implement these changes.

As an example, our unit is developing a more streamlined employee recruitment process. The new process will ensure that a robust slate of qualified candidates are presented to the civil service testing processes. Our goal is to help the City attract qualified candidates for all positions.

Our unit also facilitates training and professional development opportunities for City employees through the use of instructor-led and eLearning platforms. These efforts include the Returning to Learning program.
