
Adam Geer
Chief Public Safety Director
As the first Chief Public Safety Director for the City of Philadelphia appointed by Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, Adam Geer leads the Office of Public Safety in coordinating the City’s intergovernmental response to gun violence.
Prior to being appointed to this role, Adam served as the City of Philadelphia’s Deputy Inspector General for Public Safety.
Outside of his professional life, Adam is a dedicated public servant and sits on the boards for the Sarita and Claire Wright Lucas Foundation (which provides scholarships to women of color who are entering careers as prosecutors), Women Against Abuse, the Eastern Passayunk Avenue Business Improvement District, and Prosecution Leaders of Now.
