POOL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is routine work maintaining the proper chlorine and pH levels in Fairmount Park swimming pools. Employees are responsible for the operation of the chlorinating and filtration systems. Work assignments are seasonal and on an assigned shift basis.

Work is performed under the close supervision of a skilled tradesmen. Assignments are limited in nature and are performed in accordance with detailed instructions. Work requires light physical effort and potential contact with dangerous chemicals.
