PARK CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is second level supervisory work directing the masonry construction, maintenance and repair programs for the city-wide park system. The incumbent in this class directs, through subordinate supervisors, crews of masonry and equipment operation personnel performing construction, maintenance and repairs on Park buildings and structures. Determining work priorities and reviewing in-house and contractor work for compliance with specifications and trade standards are of major significance to the work. Work is performed under the direction of a technical superior.
