PARK FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is managerial level work directing the maintenance repairs and security practices for the building and facilities in a citywide park system. An employee in this class is responsible for evaluating the organizational and operational efficiency of the park's facilities maintenance program. Supervising the work of a large number of trades workers and others through subordinate supervisors is of major significance to the work. Work is performed under the general direction of the Executive Director or Deputy Director of the Fairmount Park Commission.
