General Definition
- This is advanced clerical telecommunications services work in the Division of Technology. An employee in this class reviews requisitions for telecommunication services and invoices for payment, and ensures proper maintenance of the City's central employee directory. This class is differentiated from the next lower class in the series by monitoring the City's telephone expense account and conducting a review/verification of the division's telecommunications bids. Contact with City agencies and departments and division staff regarding requisitions for telecommunication services, invoices for payment, and bids review/verification is significant to the work. Work is performed under the supervision of the telephone services superior.
