CLEAN BLOCK ADMINISTRATOR


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is second level supervisory community development work directing a staff of neighborhood development specialists in the citizen participation aspects of the city's clean block and urban beautification programs. Work includes directing a staff engaged in contacting neighborhood residents and community groups and enlisting their support in program activities. Motivating and maintaining public interest in the programs is of major significance to the work. The employee in this class participates with others in carrying out various aspects of the city-wide clean block and urban beautification programs. Work is performed under the direction of an administrative superior.
