TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is technical work planning, implementing and evaluating a major segment of a city- wide training and personnel development program. An employee in this class is responsible for administering either management development or specialized training services or functioning in a staff capacity as assistant to the division director. Work may include supervision of a small number of technical and clerical personnel. Work is performed under the direction of the Training and Personnel Division Director.
