AIRPORT FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGER


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is administrative fiscal management work, directing the aviation fund accounting and budgetary programs for the City's International and Northeast airports, through subordinate supervisors. The employee in this class prepares and manages the airports' operating and capital budgets. Work includes the preparation of fiscal reports, financial statements and other documentation intended to support the recovery of operating costs through the assessment of airline annual rates and charges and fees for concessionaires and other users. Performing financial analysis for the development of new rate setting methodologies and assessing the financial impact of changes in policy and procedures and capital program implementation plans are significant aspects of the work. Work is performed under the direction of an administrative superior.
