ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES ANALYST


GENERAL DEFINITION

This is accounting systems and procedures analysis work at the full performance level studying, analyzing, developing, installing, and modifying accounting systems and procedures in the City's central accounting and revenue collection bureaus. This analysis includes automating manual procedures and analyzing existing computer systems. Employees in this class perform special studies, prepare financial statements and contact departmental officials to study their operation, analyze data and implement recommendations. Employees in this class report to a technical superior.
