CLERK STENOGRAPHER II



GENERAL DEFINITION

This is stenographic and moderately complex clerical work.
Employees in this class are all responsible for recording and transcribing of dictation, but principal emphasis is upon the difficulty of, and responsibility involved, in the related clerical work.
Work is performed under the close supervision of an administrative or clerical superior. Assignments are stable in nature and are carried out in accordance with instructions and established routines.
