Auditing

Auditing requirements

Organizations have annual auditing requirements if they have received funding from the:

  • Division of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).
  • Commerce Department.
  • Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.
  • Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation.

The following instructions apply to organizations whose fiscal year (FY) or calendar year (CY) ended between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.

SOFGF form

The first step to meeting these requirements is to complete a Schedule of Federal Governmental Funding (SOFGF) form. (See instructions to complete the SOFGF).

By completing the SOFGF, you’ll determine your organization’s total federal expenditures from all federal funding sources. You need this information to complete your auditing requirement.

Next steps

If your total federal expenditures are … then go to …
Less than $750,000 Auditing process: Less than $750,000
$750,000 or more Auditing process: $750,000 or more
