The Office of Recovery and Grants manages the city’s fiscal recovery from COVID-19. The office is part of the Office of the Director of Finance.
Mission and structure
The Office of Recovery and Grants (ORG) manages the City’s state, federal, and private grants to ensure that recovery funding is used efficiently and effectively. The office also coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on all plans for citywide recovery and economic reopening.
Their work is governed by a steering committee of senior City leaders. The committee consists of five working groups focused on the following key priority areas:
- Policy and legislation
- Communications
- Internal controls and compliance
- Financial administration and grants management
- Citywide economic recovery
