We’ll learn more about ways we can advocate for safer traffic encounters, and how our law enforcement agencies can commit to change.

We’ll be joined by Ms. Valerie Castile, Founder of the Philando Castile Relief Foundation and the mother of Philando Castile, who was tragically killed by a Police Officer during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights, Minneapolis. The Philando Castile Relief Foundation was created in his memory to provide immediate assistance to parents who are experiencing the loss of a loved one from gun violence.

We’ll also be joined by Jacquelyn Carter, President of the Alliance for Safe Traffic Stops and the inventor of the “Not Reaching Pouch.” This revolutionary device, designed to enhance driver safety during traffic stops, affixes to your vehicle's air vent and holds all necessary documents requested by a police officer in clear view, eliminating the need for drivers to reach for them. We will have Not Reaching Pouches available for our attendees for FREE.

Our amazing event will take place at the Venice Island Performing Arts Center. The center is located at 7 Lock Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127. Paid Parking is available in a spacious lot.
