From September 19 through October 20, 2014 colorful decals decorated the sidewalks at potential bike share locations, the result of a partnership between bike share and the Mural Arts Program. The decals invited passersby to comment on potential station locations via text message.
The City of Philadelphia finalized a survey initiative surrounding bike share station planning in December 2014. Over five weeks, we received around 10,000 public comments on 95 potential station locations via an online map, in-person surveys, and text message surveys. We held two all-day open houses at the Gallery at Jefferson Station and at 30th Street Station in November to discuss the results. The
report is now available.
