Street Resurfacing Work – April 21st to 25th

PHILADELPHIA – The Department of Streets announces roadway work will begin next week, April 21st to April 25th, on the following streets:
1st and 2nd Highway Districts:

This work will happen in four phases: Milling, Prep, Paving, and Line Striping. Phase one, crews milling the roadway will remove the old asphalt surface. Phase two, additional prep work such as adjustments to utility access and manhole covers is conducted. Phase three, paving crews will resurface the street. Phase four, line striping crews will paint stop bars, crosswalks, and other lines as designed.
These four phases are completed by different crews on different days. Please pay attention to posted signage for updates on when work will occur and parking will be restricted.
