Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, in collaboration with SEAMAAC and Friends of Mifflin Square Park, invites you to celebrate Arbor Day 2025. As part of the park’s community-led “Making Room for Everyone” revitalization effort, this event highlights the importance of trees and green spaces in creating a more inclusive, welcoming South Philadelphia. The celebration will include the city’s 49th consecutive Tree City USA proclamation, a tree planting ceremony, eco-friendly activities, and conversations on urban forestry and sustainability.
