Just in time for Mayor Parker’s Budget Town Halls, the City College for Municipal Employment (CCME) has put together the Workforce and Professional Development Training Directory!
This directory is a helpful guide for you and your family to learn about programs that can help you grow your career and education. It’s 40 pages full of opportunities for people as young as middle schoolers to gain new skills and find career paths that lead to success.
The City of Philadelphia is investing in its workers and creating better job opportunities for residents. The Parker administration has made big changes, including starting the City College for Municipal Employment (CCME). In October 2024, CCME launched the Bridge to City Employment program, working with the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP). CCME also created Upskilling programs to help current City employees move up in their careers. These programs make education easier to access and help people get well-paying City jobs.
In the CCME Training Directory, you can learn about all CCME’s workforce programs. You’ll also find information on youth job opportunities, college internships, job training, adult education, and professional development for City workers. There’s something for everyone!
Philadelphia is full of hard-working people, and we want to give everyone a chance to succeed. Whether you’re a high school student, a longtime City worker, or someone looking for a new career, our goal is to create opportunities for you, your family, and the whole city.
