Take Back the Night Philadelphia

Join the 15th annual Take Back the Night march. This is an opportunity for all survivors, supporters, and anyone impacted by sexual or domestic violence to break the silence and come together. The march will lead to the First Unitarian Church where there will be resource tables, a survivor speak-out, refreshments, and a candlelight vigil.

Join Prevention Meets Fashion for their annual Denim Day event filled with art, education, and body movement activities to destigmatize conversations about sexual assault. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Denim Day is observed on the last Wednesday of April. To stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and stand against victim-blaming, wear jeans as a statement that clothing does not equal consent.

Become a WOAR volunteer advocate! WOAR hosts three training sessions annually for volunteers to receive 45+ hours of training to become a certified Sexual Assault Counselor in Pennsylvania. Apply to join the June 2025 training by April 1, 2025 or the August 2025 training by June 1, 2025.
