Bridging the Digital Divide, One Device at a Time
On Thursday, February 27th, the Office of Innovation and Technology distributed 50 free laptops to residents in the Kensington neighborhood. It was a day filled with connection, learning, and excitement as community members walked away with new devices and the tools and knowledge to make the most of them. The City’s Digital Navigator Network provided hands-on support to help set up their devices, learn about internet access options, and explore digital literacy resources.
