Summer fun is coming for Philadelphia youth! Philadelphia Parks & Recreation summer camp registration opens on February 27, 2025, for returning campers, with general registration beginning on March 3, 2025.
Parks & Rec offers day camps for kids ages 6-12 at more than 100 locations. Whether it’s a nearby recreation center, a park, or a playground, there’s a camp conveniently located close to home.
Here’s why families keep coming back to Parks & Rec camps year after year:
- Fun Activities: Campers stay busy with a variety of games, sports, arts and crafts, and more! Every day brings new activities that keep kids excited all summer long.
- Lifelong Friendships: Camps bring kids together from all over the neighborhood. At theme camps, kids can connect with others who share their hobbies and interests. It’s the perfect place to build friendships that last beyond the summer.
- Beat the Heat: Water games, pool visits, and spraygrounds help kids stay cool when the weather gets hot. Swim lessons are also available to help campers feel more comfortable and confident.
- A Safe and Caring Environment: Our trained camp leaders and staff create a fun and safe atmosphere for every camper. Many camps also offer before-care and after-care options for busy families.
- Healthy Meals: Each camper is provided with two meals each day. Our meals keep each camper fueled and ready for all the fun ahead.
- Adventure Awaits: Field trips give kids a chance to visit new places and ignite curiosity.
Camp Dates: July 7 – August 15, 2025. Camps are available at locations across Philadelphia.
Plus, if you need financial help, limited fee waivers are available for families who qualify. Availability and coverage amount vary by site, depending on funding, and are not guaranteed. Parents must return both the registration form and fee waiver request to their local recreation center to complete the registration process.
Don’t wait! Mark your calendar, get ready to sign up, and get ready for an unforgettable summer at Parks & Rec camps!
