PHILADELPHIA– Multiple City agencies are currently responding to a large fire that occurred in Abington Township overnight. The Health Department has dispatched inspectors to the area to collect air samples to assess air quality and the potential for any threat. At this time, no specific hazardous substances have been identified. Other agencies involved in the response and investigation include the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management, Philadelphia Fire Department, and Philadelphia Water Department.
