The City’s “Philly Phlush” public restrooms have a standard layout. There are a few exceptions that depend on whether the restroom is next to a wall or can be approached from all sides.
The descriptions and accessibility notes below are intended to assist individuals with mobility devices and/or limited vision. If you need further assistance, you can also call 311 in Philadelphia or (215) 686-8686 if you are outside Philadelphia.
Remember: You will know you are at the front of the restroom because the door is curved.

Two hanging hooks | One hook is located on the back of the door inside the unit. A second hook is on the left wall, to the left of the changing table. |
Naloxone box | On the right wall, in the middle of the unit. |

Menstrual product dispenser | On the left wall, near the back of the unit. |
Trash can | On the back wall of the unit, on the left side. It is to the left of the hand sanitizer. |
Hand sanitizer pump | On the back wall of the unit, on the left side. It is to the right of the trash can. |
Toilet seat cover dispenser | On the right wall, underneath the horizontal grab bar. |
Toilet | On the back wall, on the right side of the unit. |
Grab bars | One bar is located behind the toilet. If you are on the toilet, there is one vertical bar and one horizontal bar to your left. |
Toilet paper | When using the toilet, you will reach to your left. |

Door to enter and exit | The door faces Arch Street. The door swings open to the left. |
Sharps disposal container | Inside, on the right wall towards the back. It is above the toilet seat covers dispenser. |
Naloxone box | Outside, on the back wall of the unit. |
Hand washing station | Outside, on the left wall of the unit near the back. There is an opening to wash your hands. The soap is immediately beneath the opening, on the left. The button to turn on the water is also beneath the opening, on the right. The hand dryer is on top of the opening. |
