PHILADELPHIA – Today, the City of Philadelphia announced the MLK Drive Weekend Closure for Recreation will be extended through the normal weekend hours to include the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 2.

The road closure will begin on Saturday, August 31 at 7 a.m. and will be in place through Tuesday, September 3 at 7 a.m. Operations will return to a normal schedule on the weekend of September 7-8.
