PHLpreK joins School District, partners in collaboration to streamline enrollment.
The time-honored search for free, full-day, high-quality preK for 3 and 4 year olds just got easier for Philadelphia parents. The City of Philadelphia, in collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia, this week introduced a FreePhillyPreK website that allows parents and caregivers to locate a quality site near them and apply in one place!
Children should be 3 or 4 years old on/by September 1, 2024. Just follow the simple instructions below:
- Visit the interactive FreePhillyPreK site to select your top three pre-K program choices near you. Please feel free to call or visit sites in person.
- Next, gather your documents. To apply, families will need the following:
- Proof of Child’s Age document
- Proof of Family Residency document
- Proof of Household Income
- Caregiver ID
