The Philadelphia Fire Department partnered with the PFD Foundation to sell nearly 1,200 T-shirts as a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. PFD members were allowed to wear the navy-and-pink shirts on duty as part of their uniform during October. The shirts featured the PFD logo and the phrase “Helping Fight Breast Cancer.” Limited quantities are still available.

The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation promotes fire prevention and safety and helps the PFD better protect Philadelphia by funding programs that support operational excellence, community outreach, and critical training and equipment.
