CPOC is deeply saddened by the news that a 22-year veteran of the Police Department who was a husband and father, was killed yesterday, and another was wounded while attempting to intervene during a suspected vehicle break-in.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the PPD and the community at this difficult time, and we send our condolences to the Officer’s family and friends.

The work of policing is not an easy one, and every day our Officers put their lives in harm’s way to serve the community. We wish the injured Officer a speedy recovery.
