On the heels of The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup™, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation is expanding the Philadelphia International Unity Cup to include a women’s tournament.
Eight teams will take part in the first-ever Philadelphia International Unity Cup Women’s Tournament this fall. They are:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Colombia
- Honduras
- Germany
- Guatemala
- Mexico
- United States
The Philadelphia International Unity Cup is a City-sponsored soccer tournament. The annual event celebrates and uplifts Philadelphia’s diverse immigrant communities.
Tournament participants represent their home country. They compete against neighbors from around the world who now call Philly home.
The first-ever Women’s Tournament will kick off on Saturday, September 16, 2023. It will take place on weekends throughout September.
The date, time, and location of the Women’s Tournament Championship will be announced soon. The event will be played at the same time as the Men’s 2023 Championship Match and the annual Unity Cup youth match.
