Summer weather has arrived in Philadelphia! As temperatures heat up over the next few months, visit a sprayground at a Parks & Rec site near you.
Spraygrounds will close for the 2022 season after Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2022.
The City has over 90+ spraygrounds and water features available to keep residents cool this summer. Some Parks & Rec sites are home to a single sprinkler, spray jet, or mister. Other sites include water play areas called spraygrounds. These are great ways for everyone to enjoy water in the city safely!
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, spraygrounds are turned on 7 days a week, with exceptions for inclement weather.
